Bread Egg Upma

 
 

Ingredients
  1. Bread slices - 4 nos
  2. Onion(chopped) – 1 no
  3. Tomato (chopped) – 1 no
  4. Green chilly(chopped) – 2 nos
  5. Ginger(chopped) - ½ tsp
  6. Beans(finely Chopped) -4 nos
  7. Carrot(grated) - 1 no
  8. Garam Masala Powder - ¼ tsp
  9. Egg - 2 nos
  10. Red Chilly -2 nos
  11. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  12. Curry leaves - 1 stem
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Oil - 1 ½ tbsp

Directions
 
  1. Beat eggs with salt.
  2. Heat ½ tbsp of oil in a pan.
  3. Add the beaten egg and scramble it.
  4. Keep it aside.
  5. Remove the edges of each bread slice and cut it into small pieces.
  6. Heat Oil in a pan.
  7. Add Mustard seeds and Red chilli and let it splutter.
  8. Add onion, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
  9. Sauté it until onion turns translucent.
  10. Add grated carrot, chopped beans and chopped tomato and saute well.
  11. Add garam masala and salt and saute for a minute.
  12. Sprinkle little water and cover the pan.
  13. Let it cook in a medium heat.
  14. When the vegetables are cooked well and the water dries up, add the bread pieces and mix well.
  15. Add the scrambled egg into it and mix well
  16. Ready to Serve
