Ingredients
- Sardine - 10
- Kudampulli - 2 pieces
- Curry Leaves - 3 sprig
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - for taste
- Red Chilli Powder - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Corriander Powder - 1 tbsp
- Fenugreek Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Shallots - 6 to 8
- Garlic - 3 pods
- Ginger - 1"
Directions
- In a blender grind the above ingredients "For Paste" with enough water to fine paste.
- Gently mix ground spicy paste, kudampulli and Salt with Sardines well.
- Heat kalachatti or pan and pour oil. Spread oil evenly in the pan.
- Spread 2 sprig of Curry Leaves and place our sardines carefully over it.
- Add little Water and bring to boil.
- When Gravy thickens, remove from fire.
- Sprinkle some oil and curryleaves at the top and keep it for 20 - 30 minutes.
- Serve with Rice or Tapioca.
