Onion Raita




Ingredients
  1. Yoghurt - 1 cup
  2. Finely Choped Onion - 1 large
  3. Roasted Ground Cumin (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
  4. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  5. Finely Choped Green Chilli - 1
  6. Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp
  7. Red Chillies Powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. Chaat Masala - 1/4 tsp (Optional)
  9. Coriander Leaves - 5 to 10
  10. Water - 1/2 cup

Directions

  1. Take a medium sized bowl and add yogurt to it. Mash it with a blender until it gets smooth. Add water and remaining ingredients except Onion and again mix them well.
  2. Now add Onion to it and mix it well. Refrigerate Onion Raita for 1/2 hour.
  3. Before serving, garnish Onion Raita with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled.
