Potato Fry


Potato Fry


Ingredients
  1. Potato - 2
  2. Shallots - 5
  3. Garlic - 3
  4. Red Chilli - 2
  5. Curry Leaves - a sprig
  6. Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  7. Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt - for taste
  9. Mustard - 1 tsp
Directions
  1. Peel out the skin and cut Potatoe into bite sized cube and leave it in water so that it does not discolor.
  2. Grind Shallots, Garlic, Red Chilli and Salt.
  3. Heat oil in pan and splutter the Mustard Seeds. Add Curry Leaves.
  4. Add grounded ingredients. Saute the ingredients till a lovely aroma comes.
  5. Lower the flame and add Chilli Powder and Turmeric Powder. Mix well
  6. Add potatoes directly out of the water, shake off the excess water slightly and mix well with masala.
  7. Close with a lid and cook in low flame until Potatoes are cooked.
  8. Remove the lid and Saute for 5 minutes until it is fried.
  9. Serve hot with Rice.
