Raw Banana Fry (Kaya Mezhukkupuratti)



Ingredients
  1. Small Cubes Raw Banana - 2
  2. Shallots - 3 or 4
  3. Garlic - 1
  4. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Curry leaves - a sprig
  8. Oil - 2 tsp
  9. Red Chilli - 2
  10. Water - as required

Directions
  1. In a non - stick pan add banana cubes with little water, salt and turmeric powder. Cover it, boil and make it soft.
  2. When it is soft remove the lid and allow it to evaporate water completely.
  3. Grind Garlic, Shallots, Red Chilli and keep it aside.
  4. In a non stick pan, add oil, spatter mustard seeds.
  5. Add curry leaves and grinded mix.
  6. Saute it for 3 minutes. Add boiled banana and stir.
  7. Serve hot with rice.
