Ingredients
- Vanpayar (Red Cow Peas) - 1 cup
- Grated Coconut - 3/4 cup
- Cumin Seeds - a pinch
- Chopped Garlic - 2 pods
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Curry Leaves - a Sprig
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - for taste
- Soak Vanpayar for 6 hrs.
- Boil Vanpayar in a Vessel with Turmeric Powder, Salt and water until soft.
- Crush Coconut, Cumin Seeds and Chilli Powder.
- Heat pan and add cooked Vanpayar.
- Add Garlic and Coconut mix to it.
- Add Curry Leaves and Oil and stir until dry and remove from fire.
