Ingredients
- Nirapara Uppuma Rava - 2 Cups
- Onion - 1 medium
- Chopped Ginger - 2 tsp
- Chopped Green Chilli - 2
- Curry leaves - A sprig
- Urad Dal - 1 tsp
- Cashew Nut - 5
- Raisins = 6 or 8
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1 cup
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Oil / Ghee - 2tbsp
Directions
- Boil water and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, splutter mustard seeds.
- Add Ginger, Green Chilli, Cashewnuts and raisins. Saute till light brown in color
- Add onion, stir until it turns translucent.
- Add curry leaves, salt and urad dal.
- Add Rava and saute for 3 minutes.
- At low flame add water and mix and cover it.
- Saute Occassonally for 15minutes.
- Serve hot.
